This Action will organize training schools aimed at disseminating our knowledge about susceptibility to pediatric leukemia and lymphoma and genetic causes of therapy related toxicity, including the most recent results of current research networks of the LEGEND-COST Action. The training schools will provide intensive training on new and emerging subjects and offer training opportunities for unique equipment and know-how in the Action member’s laboratories.
ELIGIBILITY
Each announcement will specify the target group of the training school depending on topic and expertise level needed to accomplish the courses. Trainees are entitled to receive a fixed Grant reimbursement to attend the training school. The Trainee Grant is a contribution to the overall travel, accommodation and meal expenses of the Grantee. The grants do not necessarily cover all expenses related to attending the training school.
Trainees eligible for a Trainee Grant:
- Trainees from COST full member countries
- Trainees from COST cooperating countries;
- Trainees from approved NNC institutions;
- Trainees from approved European RTD Organisations.
The maximum number of participants that can be considered per research group will be 2 students, as far as budget limitations may allow this. Additionally, extra students may be acceptable without financial COST support, e.g. to be paid from a research grant, up to the space limitations of the training site.
